“Canadians are using their smartphones and tablets to catch up on the news, conduct research or indulge in a great magazine feature, whether at home, at work or when they’re travelling,” said Nauby Jacob, Vice President, Products and Services for Bell Mobility. “With PressReader now on Canada’s fastest and largest mobile network, Bell Mobility customers can access an unmatched range of leading newspaper publications from Canada, the U.S.A. and around the world on their mobile devices.”

PressReader has built strong partnerships with the world’s best publishers, including the National Post, Vancouver Sun, Toronto Star, Le Devoir, The Guardian, The Washington Post, Forbes, Hockey News, and Elle, helping them connect to new audiences. From Canada to the U.K., India, the Philippines, and France, PressReader has more stories than any other platform. It’s also the only one with rights to distribute news content from mainland China.

Wherever they are, readers can snack on bits of news or dive deep into quality journalism on their own device. With PressReader, they get complete newspapers and magazines that are mobile-friendly and can be read, shared, and instantly translated to up to 18 different languages.

“Our innovative business models have already brought high-quality journalism to readers across the world. Bell is yet another industry leader that’s joining us in delivering trusted content in a way that makes sense to consumers,” said Igor Smirnoff, Chief Commercial officer at PressReader. “Canadians want a mobile reading experience that’s highly personalized. We’re giving them the options they want.”

This partnership is a response to a worldwide shift in the way people stay informed and entertained. That’s why PressReader is committed to putting the right content in front of the right audiences, at the right time, through the right channels, at the right price.

“We’ve already transformed the global airline and hospitality industries, bringing PressReader to people around the planet,” said Alex Kroogman, CEO at PressReader. “As Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation approaches, we’re very proud to be working at home in Canada with a Canadian partner, connecting Bell customers to the stories they care about.”
