Spotlight: Congressman Jared Polis talks about law to strengthen email privacy

U.S. Representative Jared Polis (D-CO) says we need to strengthen online privacy. Along with other members of Congress, Congressman Polis has introduced the “Email Privacy Act” to strengthen email privacy. Currently any agency of government doesn’t need a warrant to access any email on a third-party server that is more than 180 days old. The new bill would update the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) to ensure Americans’ online communications are protected from unwarranted government intrusion. Do you support this bill?
