iTunes Raises Prices to Account for Changes in European Value-Added Tax (VAT)
Within the next 36 hours, prices on the App Store will increase for all territories in the European Union as well as in Canada and Norway, decrease in Iceland, and change in Russia. These changes are being made to account for adjustments in value-added tax (VAT) rates and foreign exchange rates.
Exactly how much the prices will change is unclear, but Apple made this announcement on Wednesday and states that changes would be implemented within 36 hours, so we should see the new prices in action soon enough.
Note that the updated price matrix will be available in the app’s Pricing section on your iTunes Connect account within the next 24 hours.
