PressReader service remains unaffected by SWETS dissolution
We want to let anyone impacted by the bankruptcy of SWETS know that our service and our content remain completely unaffected. We’re here to make sure there’s a seamless transition for libraries, which secured access to PressReader through SWETS representatives acting as re-sellers of our product.
Here’s everything you need to know:
- All PressReader accounts will remain in service and are absolutely unaffected
- Our content offering will not change in any way
- We will directly support any library, which had previously procured PressReader through SWETS
- Any libraries that need to process renewals can get in touch with us directly or renew through another one of our preferred partners
This is an exciting time at PressReader! We’re experiencing unprecedented levels of growth. We’ve recently surpassed the 3,000 mark in the number of newspapers and magazines we offer, and that number will only continue to grow. We’ve also launched brand new versions of PressReader app for iOS and Android, and we’ve been receiving great feedback from our millions of users around the world. Our new Windows 8 app is due to be released shortly.
