NewspaperDirect Making its Presence in Latin American Universities
As a cost effective and efficient resource that connects libraries and their patrons to an extensive database of 2,300+ full-content newspapers and magazines on the day they’re published, Library PressDisplay has enjoyed tremendous success in many academic and public libraries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Recently, Market Development Manager for Latin America & Caribbean Guido Smallegange had the opportunity to attend the International Conference for University Libraries: Quality of Information and Some Reflections, where he learned about the many dynamic needs of academic libraries in Latin America. Organized by UNAM University in Mexico, Latin America’s largest in terms of enrollment with more than 300,000 students, the event was a great success and a valuable learning experience for Guido and NewspaperDirect’s Library PressDisplay team.
Guido was also thrilled to learn that the students at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla have fallen in love with Library PressDisplay. A group of economics students recently posted a video on YouTube raving about Library PressDisplay and what a powerful research tool it is. They relied on it as a primary resource for a research project on digital economy. Check out the video below.
