Tutorial: On-Demand Audio

Ever wanted to have your newspaper read aloud to you? Well, with Library PressDisplay, you can do just that.

Library PressDisplay’s on-demand audio is a popular feature literally reads the newspaper to you. It’s a convenient way to stay on top of your favourite publications while you’re on the go or multi-tasking! Download audio files for the entire newspaper or magazine, or just specific articles.

Use on-demand audio with instant translation to have articles read to you in the language of your choice!

Have the entire newspaper read to you: To listen to all the articles in the newspaper, in the order they are printed in, click on “Interactive Radio.” An audio file will download to your computer, playable on most media player software.



Listen to specific articles: Did a particular article catch your eye? Have it read to you by hovering your mouse on the headline to automatically open a tool bar. Select the headphones icon to have that article read aloud.


Listen in Text-View: Alternatively, you can have articles read aloud in text-view. Just click on the “Listen” button at the top.


Listen to articles in the language of your choice (in 2 steps): To do this, first translate the article to your language of choice.


Then, simply click on the “Listen” button at the top.
