NewspaperDirect to Attend the 14th Library Fair & Forum in Yokohama, Japan
Director of Library Sales and Distribution Mark Ritchie and Market Development Managers Mark Kamei and Darcy Sara will be in beautiful Yokohama, Japan, to attend the 14th Library Fair & Forum – the largest event in Japan for librarians and information professionals.
This event is an exciting opportunity for NewspaperDirect’s Libraries Team to become better acquainted and engaged with their long valued and rapidly growing Asian markets. Southeast Asia, especially, has been a region of incredible growth with more and more libraries adding Library PressDisplay to their services.
At the Fair, the trio will be hosting a 90-minute spotlight seminar on the value Library PressDisplay adds to libraries everywhere. As a popular feature in more than 7,000 libraries worldwide, Library PressDisplay provides public, academic and special libraries with access to more than 2,300 newspapers and magazines from 97 countries and 55 languages at budget-saving prices.
Publications on Library PressDisplay are presented as full-content digital replicas, allowing users to read their favorite newspapers and magazines on-screen exactly as they would with a familiar print edition. With an array of digital tools such as advanced keyword search, instant translation and on-demand audio, this product readily serves a wide and diverse patronage. Content is always up-to-date, and is often available online before it’s available in print!
The 14th Library Fair & Forum will be held at Pacifico Yokohama, the city’s state of the art convention center. If you’ll happen to be in Yokohama from November 20 – 22 and would like to get in touch, please send us an email at email@example.com.
