Having Trouble Getting Your Newspaper Distributed on The Kindle Store?
Like many of you, we have received reports that Amazon is slowing down the addition process of newspapers and magazines to its Kindle store. According to an article published by paidContent.org, Amazon responded to this fact with the following:
“We are not always able to immediately launch every publisher who contacts us using our more heavyweight integration method. For publishers that want to add their newspaper onto Kindle in self-service fashion, they can also do so via the Amazon Appstore for Android.”
We believe this recent change to be a positive one for publishers, as this will enable you to better manage your reader’s experience on Kindle devices and your own relationship. As mentioned in a previous post, The Amazon Kindle Fire’s growing market share: How can you be part of it?, we have developed a fantastic Android application which runs on Amazon Kindle Fire and on the latest Gingerbread- and Honeycomb-based phones and tablets. This application is made available via the Amazon Appstore and can be released very quickly!
If you do not have an app available yet, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be happy to discuss how we can get you a quick access to the Kindle user market!
